I want to reprogram a TKR-720 Repeater. I need to know what cable will work besides a KPT-50 Standalone programmer. Will a KPG-4 cable work? Any info will help.. Thanks...

Provoice programming in the Orion Mobile

Anyone know how to program the provoice option in an orion mobile? When I program it, I go to the channel and it tells me DIGV ERR I do not know if I do not have it programmed right or not, anyone have any info?

I assume you have installed hex workshop on your computer or have you downloaded it and have no clue is to where it downloaded it to? easy way of programming a VHF orion out of band with dos

I assume someone already has done this, I found out a way to program an orion out of band with the dos software. I am using hex workshop, what I do is create a split of special. I then program the freq's I want into it, I then save it under special, from there I read the radio or create a new person...

yeah radio shack, the crapiest place to get stuff, 1 they dont know S*&^ and on top of that they sell crap stuff for more money then quality stuff at a real electronics store.
